Naming is Not The Hardest Task
No, it is not! Nonetheless, we have arrived at a complete and officially registered name for our son -- Caleb Augustus Wells Butt.
Well, six and a half weeks have passed since the birth of our little boy. Despite feeling as if we're apart from the rest of the world (and our normal daily grind) so much seems to be happening. In these weeks we have had countless amounts of support, encouragement, and help from our friends and family.
We all arrived home from the hospital on Feb 18th and began adjusting to life at home. Fortunately we had a 'take home nurse' in Christina's mother, Gail. She spent two weeks at our home caring for us and Caleb before all the rest of the grandparents arrived! Our friend Robyn Hamlyn and her little son Ben are here now, and we're enjoying gallavanting around Vancouver with them. Caleb loves being on the go!
Now we're constantly in awe of our little man, and quickly getting a grasp on meeting his needs. We're getting used to how things work now and we're settling into parenthood. We're headed to the Oregon Coast next week for a much needed trip before Brian heads back to work on April 16th.
Check out the new photos! And there's even more on the Flickr site (see previous post for link).

Tasked With Naming
Our baby boy was born February 14, 2006 in Vancouver, BC at 8:21pm. At birth he weighed 8lbs 6oz, and measured 21.5" head-to-toe.
At ten days old we have finally decided on the name of our little son (mostly). His first name is Caleb. He will have two middle names and the last name Butt. His first middle name is Augustus, named after Christina's Grandfather on the Wells side. The second middle name we have not yet decided - so many choices! We promise everything will be decided before his dedication at Grandview Calvary Baptist Church on March 4th!
Have a look at the boy!

Relaxin with my Dad.

Gramma Wells.

Finally out of the scrubs.

Let's go home.
